De Gouden Ganzenveer
Eight graphic designers from Flanders and The Nederlands were chosen to pitch their design for the upcoming edition of the Gouden Ganzenveer publication.
The jury consisted out of five professionals, namely Gerdi Verbeet, Steph Scholten, Arie Lenoir, Ewan Lentjes & Paul Verrept.
For this publication, Studio Studio created a clear and modern way of reading by mixing the ‘classic’ way of typesetting and the visual gathering of letters and colors on a piece of paper.
We were very honoured with this nomination!
This limited publication is an overview of the photo series Pink Memories by conceptual photographer Cheyenne Dekeyser. Studio Studio came up with the editorial concept of connecting dreams and reality throughout the paper. The reader look at the images hidden by pink silk paper. The transparency and thickness of the paper require a dreamy way of reading.
The University of Leuven (KULeuven) asked Studio Studio to participate to a commissioned pitch to design the cultural guide for upcoming school year.
Studio Studio made a proposal in which a bright line reflects the dynamics within the cultural functioning of the University.
This design points out the many benefits of this sector and these are highlighted to the numerous students in an effortless, yet sharp way.
Majo de Saedeleer is a writer and the former president of Stichting Lezen (Foundation for the promotion of reading).
Studio Studio designed her book Anders, a collection of Majo’s texts and drawings by her grandchildren. The book looks playful, with different letter sizes and other typographic interventions complementing the children’s artwork
