COLORBLIND is an educational theatre production by Vlaams Fruit, built around a single question put directly to its teenage audience: what do you do when someone is bullied? The play stages an experiment, observed by three adults, in which students are confronted with their own reactions in real time and asked, literally, to show their colours.

The format is interactive by design. The audience is not watching a play about bullying. It is inside a test case, and the scenography is the testing ground.

Studio Studio designed the visual identity and the scenography as a single system. The logo is built from a set of geometric shapes, and the same shapes are extended into the spatial design of the stage. Pattern, colour and form move from print to floor to backdrop without translation. What students see in the programme is what they stand on.
