CUT TO: GENT is a Belgian short film festival held in the centre of Ghent, presenting, discussing and awarding the work of emerging directors. For the third edition in summer 2020, Studio Studio designed the poster and the programme. The festival went ahead in a restricted format under the Covid-19 measures in place at the time.
The poster was designed as a single foldable sheet that doubles as the programme. One side lays out the timeline of the festival, the other presents the selected films. Unfolded, it is a wall poster. Folded, it is a working document for the visitor, carrying both the overview and the detail of the programme in a single object.
