Anneke Eussen is a Dutch contemporary artist whose practice moves between drawing, sculpture and installation, working primarily with recuperated materials such as glass, marble and metal. Represented by Galerie Tatjana Pieters in Ghent, her work has been exhibited internationally, from Berlin and New York to San Francisco and Miami Beach. Studio Studio designed an artist book that brings together a decade of her work.
The publication is structured around a physical detail: a slight difference in paper width between the pages. That variation splits the book into two parallel readings. One edge exposes the captions, the other the images, so that by fanning through from one side or the other the reader can move exclusively through the visual or the textual register of the work without turning a single page. The two readings coexist in the same binding but never fully overlap.
The book includes texts by Philippe Van Cauteren, Krist Gruijthuijsen and Ory Dessau.
