A publication built around Pink Memories, a photo series by Belgian conceptual photographer Cheyenne Dekeyser. Studio Studio developed the editorial concept and the design.
The book is structured around a tension between concealment and disclosure. Images are placed behind sheets of pink silk paper, partially veiled, partially visible. To see a photograph fully, the reader has to lift the page. Reading becomes a sequence of small reveals, with the paper itself as the mediating layer between the image and the eye.
The choice of paper is structural rather than decorative. Its weight, transparency and tint determine what the reader sees first, what comes after, and what remains half-hidden, mirroring the way memory itself withholds and returns its contents.
