Studio Studio designed and built his website as a presentation of that full range of work alongside information on current and upcoming exhibitions.
The underlying structure is a four-column grid that displays images and accompanying texts in a clear, evenly paced rhythm. That clarity is deliberately interrupted by a secondary system of overlapping boxes that sit on top of the grid and shift as the visitor moves through the site, introducing small irregularities in the navigation without destabilising the underlying order. To keep the site aligned with the pace of the studio, a direct connection to Cole’s Instagram account was set up, so that a single post publishes simultaneously on Instagram and on the website.
